A. We purchase fuel from Cenex (most of the time), and Sinclair & NCRA (rarely) which do not import oil from the Middle East. The
US
Department of Energy keeps track of oil imports.
Q. Is there a chance that some Middle Eastern oil will be sold at your gas station?
A. Oil is a fungible commodity, and gasoline from the international community gets mixed into the pipeline. We are doing
our best to decrease that chance to a very minimum. And we guarantee that we will only work with companies that do not
import Middle Eastern oil.
Q. What kind of response have you received so far?
A. Correspondence that we receive is overwhelmingly positive, especially from our service men & women and veterans. We get a lot
of statements that Terror-Free Oil was long
overdue. Negative correspondence, about 10% of total, is evenly split between radical Left and radical Muslims. Radical Left
accuses TFO of war profiteering (while ignoring the fact that we offer franchises for $1 a year) and advancing conservative
agenda (while ignoring the fact that TFO promotes conservation, use of alternative energy and elimination of oil subsidies.)
Islamonazis accuse TFO of racism (while ignoring the fact that radical Islam is not a race, but a political ideology)
and Islamophobia (while ignoring the fact that some non-radical Muslims endorsed TFO.)
